“This falls under the heading of, “The hunt of a lifetime!” Winning bidder chooses either waterfowl hunting in Canada’s premiere Duck and Goose camp, or a Bear hunt.
The La Crete area is the FIRST area the waterfowl visit on their way South, the food supply is abundant, and they have never been shot at!! There simply is no better place to hunt waterfowl than Honker Haven!!
If you’re goin’ on a Bear hunt, black, cinnamon, and ivory bears have been taken in this area. The guides use trail cameras, and you get to pick where you hunt, and the color of bear you wish to hunt. Hunters typically remark that they have never seen the abundance of bear anywhere else. An additional bear may be taken for $500. The cost of a hunt companion is $300 per day.
Waterfowl hunting takes place any Sunday through Saturday in September, 2012. Bear hunts are available as a Spring hunt in May, 2012, or a Fall hunt in September/October, 2012. Most hunters bag their bears within two or three days. Pick-up and return to high-level airport is included.”
